Sócrates “Pagar a dívida é ideia de criança”
Que ninguém se ria...
Sócrates:
“Estuda-se em economia, foi isso que eu estudei durante... tempo, são por definição eternas. As dívidas gerem-se, foi assim que eu estudei.”
“É claro não devemos deixar crescer a dívida muito, porque isso pesa (…...) sobre os encargos.”
Etc (se não vomito).
A dívida eterna.
Se fosse banqueiro não podia ouvir melhor frase.
Com os juros cobrados, iria sempre financiar as faculdades que incutissem isto nos seus estudantes. Mais, financiaria os políticos com este tipo de opinião, isto é, estariam na minha folha de pagamentos.
A razão, embora abominável, tem uma justificação muito simples. Com os juros que cobraria, garantiria o meu sustento. Garantiria que os estados (e se possível as pessoas também) se mantivessem eternamente devedores. E sendo eu o credor, seria eu sempre a dominar.
Infelizmente os pagadores, todos nós, eu não sou banqueiro, estamos a sentir na pele o efeito nefasto desta forma de pensar e actuar.
